P.O.W. are you ready? A message from the founder.

Shalom friends and family. Are you ready? Ready for what you may ask? To make a difference, a change in someone's life. A true positive change. We are ready and fired up! As some of you know this vision started awhile back. In 2021 my husband Edwin and I, were approached with an opportunity to make a social impact. We were thrilled, as giving back to the community and donating to charity is something we already love to do. We were asked to create a non-profit that would make a difference and they would fund it. As life happens, funding never came. So the dream of P.O.W. had died physically but not in my heart. It was always in the back of mind and I was constantly thinking of how I could revive it, with no funds and not a huge network of people, the task seemed impossible. Nothing is impossible for YHWH (God). 5 years later He has made a way. 5 represents the number of grace in the bible. I believe it was a grace period to see if my heart was truly in it for change

and to allow time for the right people to come along. As the saying goes, it takes a village, the same is true for any organization. It takes a village. YHWH has made the path, brought people and resources. All we have to do now is the work. We sre excited to announce that we are back up and even more ready than before. The bank account has been created. The articles of incorporation are filed, the bylaws have been voted on and the application process for the 501(c)(3) status has begun.
